Hey Eric,
I know a lot of your videos cater to the DIY’er, but dig this…
Any chance you’ll produce videos that cater specifically to the technician? Perhaps, share some advanced diagnostics, lab scoping, etc?
You could even make it available to premium members.. because it does take a lot of brain power to understand scan tools, PID, and freeze frame data.
A lot of techs here have been around the block and would benefit from difficult diagnosis that you have encountered during your tenure as a technician.
Some shops charge $100 or $200 just for diagnostics… which means your video = $$$ in our pocket.
You should make at least 1 video that just blows our minds with technological goodness.

To be honest I don’t have a lot of experience with modern diagnostics mostly because working as ETCG is NOT the same thing as working as a technician every day. As a result I’m not sure how those videos would stack up against channels like ScannerDanner and RealFixesRealFast. I’ve always had in the back of my mind ideas for videos more for the ‘advanced’ technician but up to now I haven’t been able to come up with the ‘how’ of how I would approach those topics. I’d first need to school up on some things to get a better idea of what’s out there. I’d also like to build a good ‘base’ of general diagnostic videos that would provide some back story to the more advanced viewer. It would be a shame to produce ‘advanced’ videos before I finish the ‘beginner’ series. In the mean time check out those channels I mentioned because both of them are excellent. Thanks for the suggestion.
