I recently did a compression test on my 1998 Acura Integra, which turned out well. I got in and the CEL was on I checked it with My code reader I got p0700, p1753, p0753, p0758, p1794, p1786. They are about the transmission, but the car runs fine. I reset the codes drove it for about 250 miles. No Problems, or CEL’s. Wanted to check compression check It gave me the same codes. I haven’t had a chance to drive it that far yet but was wondering what could be wrong. The car is in great shape for a 1998 Acura Integra 4 door LS. My only complaint is that it is a little dirty inside.

Unless you disconnected something during the compression test I don’t see how they are related. It’s good the codes are gone for now but they might come back so don’t feel like you’re out of the woods just yet.

Let sleeping dogs lie bud. If the car is running fine, and there are no codes, keep on truckin’. 🙂

It’s been a little over a month. As I said the codes only came on after I did a compression test. The Car is running great, no slipping, or anything else.
