Acura B18 Ignition Suggestions?

I have a 1992 Acura Integra B series engine. My distributor seal is leaking and I’m just going to replaced the whole distributor and spark plug wires. Is aftermarket distributor ok to use? what about wires?

Honda OEM only for the distributor and wires.
if you can’t get the OE wires you can substitute
NGK wires.

But my question is more along the lines of would the after market ngk distributor and wires create a problem? I would rather go aftermarket for the price, but if anybody has had an issue with aftermarket(ngk most likely) i will stay with oem.

when aftermarket distributors are used in Honda the cars don’t
work right and start having all kinds of electrical issues. The
NGK wires can be used not the distributor. I know the price is
attractive but its not worth the aggravation.

I don’t know of an NGK distributor replacement for Honda but if there is such a thing I’d go for that first. What I normally see are cheap knock off distributors that end up having crank and cam sensor codes as well as causing no starts. This forum is littered with those. Personally I’d take a used Honda distributor over an aftermarket one any day.
