actron scan tool

i have been shoping for a good scan tool and keep coming across the actron brand. i’ve been looking at the snapon mt 2500 as well, but for the money i was thinking it would be nice to get a newer one. is actron a quality tool?

Can the Actron turn injectors off or disable them, fire ignition coils to test them, turn the IAC motor to set the idle to 2000 RPM for other testing at that idle setting to troubleshoot, as well as bidirectional communication between other vehicle components? Does it give troubleshooting tips and other help for determining what to look at to troubleshoot a particular vehicle? MT 2500 is a professional scanner which Snap On quit providing upgrades for after 2008 because they came out with newer models which made them more money. My MT 2500 does all I need it to do for the vehicles I own. I might trade it for a Snap On Verus though but I doubt that anyone would trade a $10,000 Verus for a $300 MT2500 so I guess I’ll be using the MT2500. I love it!!
