So I replaced my compressor with a junk yard compressor on my 98 Saturn due to clutch making noise . The temps didn’t really change though in the heat of the day 90-95 degrees I get to about 45 degrees after several miles with recirculate on. But when just sitting an idling on high with recirc it can get up to 60 . Radiator fan is working fine Is this normal?

Did you pull a good vacuum on the system?.. Check for good air flow across the condenser, its possible it may need cleaned of debris (leaves, bugs, dirt, etc). On some cars it is normal for a rise in temp on a hot day, this is quite typical with a swash plate compressor.
