Guys, the AC/heater stopped blowing on my 1993 Honda accord, no air flow at any setting. Recently i had noticed a decrease in air flow for the past couple of months as well, just didn’t seem to be blowing as hard as it was before, and now no air flow at all. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks in advance.

If the motor isn’t running then perhaps it’s bad, or the blower resistor is bad. If the motor IS running then perhaps there’s an issue with the blend doors inside the HVAC. More information on how to deal with problems like this can be found here.

Eric, i tapped on the side of the blower motor with a heavy wrench and the blower motor started to run temporarily, with low air flow, then shutoff again. What could that be? Thanks, Jim

most likely a bad blower motor. Get a new one ready to go in, but when you pull the old blower motor out make sure you check to make sure you’re getting 12v at the motor with the air set to “high”. I’m going to guess that you will though and a “simple” R+R of the blower motor will fix the issue.
