Hi all,
Its summer time again and there is no way im letting the girlfriend drive her car without AC. Shes too broke to replace it right now….
I got spectra from Amazon , never done this before…
Going to use Dye before doing anything just to verify its only the condenser. ( car had front impact and near zero pressure in the system )
So the processes is remove fan, disconnect hoes, dismount, mount new one, connect lines , put fan on.
then, vaccume the system and use AC tool to put in the correct amount of freon ( 2.5 lb I believe). Is there anything special I need to take in account?
I was over Hyundai forums and someone said something about special way the connectors fit on an Accent. No info on Elantra.I am hoping for some insight about this.
Thanks
