My Car Battery is 3 years old now, and the fuse for my AC compressor keeps blowing as soon as i turn it on it works for like 1 sec the poof the fuse goes. Could it be the battery? how much longer till i should get a new one?

It’s unlikely your problem has anything to do with your battery. It sounds like you have a short to ground in your ac clutch wiring. Try unplugging the connection at the compressor. If it doesn’t blow the fuse you know the problem is in the clutch. (It is an electro magnet) If the fuse still blows with the clutch disconnected that indicates a problem in the wiring.

You for sure have a short to ground somewhere. I agree with unpluging the compressor first.

I have found the problem it was a wire and had been chewed up by the fan, bad news is my car overheated and now it wont start. so ill fix it as soon as it running again.
