ABS warning light and deep water

I was driving last night in a storm and the road was flooded. I went through a couple of “puddles” that were deep enough to be at least up the axle. While doing this the ABS warning light came on on my dash and stayed on.

Is this a normal ABS reaction to being submerged? It’s still raining and damp here, any chance this will go off when it dries out?

Brakes still working fine.

It’s an 07 Mazda 3 GS with 94000 kilometers on it.

You may have soaked the connector/connection or pulled on the wire
with the deep water. I would inspect each sensor wire and connector
for damage. also disconnect each connector and dry it out. Then try
and reset the light by disconnecting the negative battery terminal
then reconnect to see if the light comes back. if it does you will
need to have the codes read to further the diagnoses.

Now the light comes on when I start the car and then goes off after I hit the brakes once then comes back on later. Reading trouble codes C1145 chassis C1234 Chassis and U2046 network.

Thank goodness for torque app.

I haven’t checked any connections in the car yet, will try to do so tomorrow.
