      IM NOT SURE WHY BUT 3WKS AFTER A ROUTINE BRAKE JOB, REPLACED THE ROTORS AND BRAKE PADS
      DID NOT HAVE TO TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE ON THE WHEEL HUB BUT NOW THE ABC LIGHT AND TRACTION CONTROL
      LIGHT IS ON… THE TRACTION CONTROL BUTON WILL NEITHER TURN OFF OR ON..???
      ANY REASONS WHY THIS IS OCCURRING… SAME THING HAPPENED ON MY 99 CADILLAC ELDORADO AS WELL..SAME JOB DONE ON IT??
      AND I HAVE CHECKED TO MAKE SURE SENSOR WIRES ARE PLUGGED IN ..

        You will need to have the codes read. You may have to take it to a dealer to have this done as some non-factory scan tools cannot read all of the codes.

          Odds are good it’s not a traction control issue, but an ABS issue. On most cars The ABS module controls the traction control.

          One of the wires going to what’s most likely a front wheel speed sensor has likely broken. It’s a GM thing, the wires break usually along the control arm. There are commercially available repair kits specifically for GM ABS wiring. The best thong to do is to verify the wheel speed sensors function with a multimeter, then start pulling back the wire loom on the front control arms looking for broken wires. Other than that you’ll have to take it to a properly equipped shop with a proper scanner.
