ABS system.

I believe that my ABS is not functional. How do I correct this situation.
My vehicle is a Toyota Vigo. It’s about 8 years, was bought brand new and it’s 3000CC.

Do you have an ABS light on?
When working with the ABS system it is very helpful to be able to pull ABS codes and to have live data.

Also how is it not working? Do you mean at all… Ever?
Could try checking fuses and relays first.

When I mash fiercely I doesn’t get the kind of response that usually goes with ABS, and the peddle goes right down, I will have to pump the brakes peddle to get brakes.
As you mentioned , I will look at the fuse. There is no light indication.

If you have to pump the brakes to make the car stop, something else entirely is wrong. Get that fixed before you worry about ABS

You should try having a shop bleed the ABS system of air and also you should check the wiring from three sensors to the module.
I’ve seen a lot the stress and crack near the steering knuckle and just ground out on it randomly causing no light.

based on sound advice , i got the brakes bled and adjusted,, cleaned the speed sensors and like clock work i am back in order, brakes system is sound . Thanks for all the advice and contribution, I humbly apologize for my delayed response
