ABS Module Repair NEEEDD HELLLPP OOHH GREAT ONES!!

I have a 2008 Pathfinder V8( same motor as the Titan). It has around 72000 miles. I have noticed that while driving, the dash seems to stop working and it lights up. 4WD, Brake, ABS, VDC OFF, Slip and the low tire light will stay on and the speedometer will stop. RPMs continue to work. Looked online all over and said to clean the sensors which I did. It seems to come up in the spring summer seasons and winter it doesnt come up at all. Taking the key out and putting it back in seems to clear it. Now a check engine light is on and I am getting these codes: P0500, U1000, C1704, C1705, C1707, C1729, P1212, U1001 and C1110. I thought it was a speed sensor but wasnt fully sure. So as an idiot I went to the dealer to have them check it out. According to them it is the ABS module that needs to be replaced. Costing around $2500. I was wondering If I could change this myself. Seems like it is in a easy place and instead of buying a brand new $1000 part, ebay has some for around $200. I was reading that the ABS module is under intense pressure sure wasent sure if opening it would spew out brake fluid everywhere. Also nervous since there are hard brake lines connecting to it. Any thoughts? Otherwise I will probably just live with it since it doesnt really seem to cause any problems drivingwise. Any advice will help! Stay dirrrtyyy my friends !!

Given the amount of codes concerning CAN comm issues.
My first thoughts are:
AN Issue with the CAN buss that is affecting the ABS module.
Or, the ABS module bringing down the CAN buss.

The proper way to diagnose this would be to use a break out box and scope.
A “dirty” test ( not a guarantee ) Try unplugging the ABS module connector, clear the codes then start the engine and see if all the codes return.

First thing I would do is ensure the battery connections were clean and tight… Then get the battery tested. Low batteries can throw all kinds of ghost codes… Remember a battery should be at least 12.6 volts and even if it does have the volts it may still lack the cranking amps!
