I’ve had a lot of requests over the years to put a camera in the shop so people could tune in. Given that I don’t have good internet at the shop, or a permanently mounted camera, I thought I would give this format a try. So far it seems to be well received. What are your thoughts?

        Enjoyed the video.

I’d be interested in knowing, with the output/results shown in the video, how it would be received at a dealership? Would this be considered an acceptable day’s work, or would someone be having “the talk” with you, encouraging you to pump more vehicles through your bay?

Loved the video! It was really interesting to see how you triage the cars and figure out what order you’d work on them, and how it’s a big game of juggling, because as you mentioned in a previous video, if you get a car stuck on the lift in pieces with something that turned out to be much more problematic than you expected, you’re stuck.

You don’t have to do a video on it, but can you do a follow up on the Honda?

Also, how about a video of you doing the grass? Also, have you ever considered “A day at the shop with Cameraman Brian?”

An acceptable day is relative. Auto repair is unpredictable. Some days you do great, others not so much. Hopefully it all evens out.

Actually I was set to cut the grass in this video. In some of the shots you may see my weed eater in the background. Thing is, the Accord took up a lot of time and I didn’t end up doing it that day as a result. As for a day with Cameraman Brian, who’s going to work the camera and work on the cars?
