Recently at random, I’ve noticed that it takes slightly longer my car to start. This only occurs when the engine has warm and when the engine is off for a while, today it was 20 minutes. The car in question is ’00 Accord LX with 222,xxx miles on it with a current P0401 code which I’ve been too lazy to fix. I’m wondering if this symptom a sign of a bigger problem to come because if it is, how do I make sure that problem doesn’t occur or I’m just paranoid?

when you say it takes longer to start i assume it cranks for a longer time before it fires up.
maintenance is the key to longevity. Make sure your taking care of her and she will take care of you
Give it a tune up plugs, plug wires, fuel and air filters maybe take it out and have the injectors cleaned.
But it doesn’t sound to me that its a major problem just something to keep an eye on and remember 222 thousand miles is a lot
