So I’m working on a 2007 Chevy Impala with 150K. The A/C compressor comes on but will not cycle on and off like they are suppose to. It runs till it blows the fuse. I thought it was A/C relay at first so I replace it and the problem was still there. So I replace the A/C pressure sensor a few days later and what do you know it still doesn’t turn off. I just replace the A/C clutch thinking it was seized but it was perfectly fine. I have looked at all the wiring on both the A/C clutch and the pressure switch and there is sign of electrical shorts. I have no clue what else to check. If you awesome people have suggestions leave a comment thanks in advance!!

If you have working knowledge on how to hook up and read a set of AC manifold gauges, that would be your starting point.
If you do not, then I would suggest going to a qualified reputable shop that con perform the work.Sounds like the ac compressors field coul is starting to go bad that could be the cause of the shorting
