      it looks like you have a leak on where the mold comes together,,, I personally have never see that before.. hmmmmm… all I can tell you if you want to try and fix it … wire brush it and use some stuff like brake cleaner or carb cleaner and clean the outside really good then use som ispropl acuhal and you can try like jb weld… it might work or migth not … I have never see anyone try it… it might work I have no idea but you can give it a shoot and see… or get a new one is your only other option so its up to you… if you do it let me know if it works for you or not, good luck

        That leak is exactly what my brothers chevy astro did. There is an o-ring/gasket of some sort that sits in between the pieces of the case.
        If you feel confident enough, you can try to rebuild it. If not, I would recommend getting a rebuilt/reman one. And remember to add the correct type and quantity of oil to the a/c system when you re-fill it.
