The A/C on my 2003 Crown Vic CVPI 4.6L V8 (‘W’ engine) 95K miles is blowing warm and I don’t know why. I was wondering if I could get ya’lls opinion on this…

      Here is the static pressure:

Here are the a/c pressures engine on, a/c on max:

Here is the compressor clutch actuation:

It was very hot and humid today, 95F with high humidity. The engine was searing hot to work on with the engine running, but the engine temp. gauge indicated normal operating temps.

I’m up for any ideas.

Your low pressure is too high and your high pressure is too low. Looks like you have it overcharged…

Your Low side should be between 35-50 psi in 70-95 degree ambient air temperatures.

Your High side should be 2.2 to 2.5 X the ambient air temperature (95 degrees should be around 209-215)

Are you taking the readings and have your idle set where the car manufacturer says it should be (1000-1400 rpms)?

I have been a bit busy with A/C work the last few days!!

        My A/C cart!
