        Have you checked your fuses?

There are a number of things it could be but try shifting the transmission into neutral to see if it will crank over. If it does the range selector switch may be faulty.

Which fuses would have a car not start but all electric work?? not saying what fuse number.. but which control i mean so i could look for it

Just because instrument cluster lights work doesnt verify a good battery. It takes 9v to crank. Id check charging system and load test the battery. Eric has videos on both of these tests. Dont condemn the starter if theres no crank. A bad cell, a faulty diode in the alternator which would restrict charging could all be culprates. Id start with testing the battery at a parts store. If thats verified then id check the charging system. If that checks out then id put a test light on fuses and check relays with a dvom/multimeter. If those check out then id listen for fuel pump thru the fill tube, if that checked then id check spark.

I would wager though that your problem lies electrical….via battery, ground, altenator, parasitic draw, relay or fuse. Let is know what you find out!

If battery and alt check good and fuses and relays are good then id look at the starters solenoids.

There’s a wire that runs from the ignition switch to the starter and when the key is turned to start it activates the starter. Remove that wire probe it with a VOM for voltage while having someone turn the key to start. If that is okay check that the battery cable at the starter has voltage.

Be careful about what you are doing – the engine could suddenly decide to start.

Yes, I saw your post and so I edited mine. By the way, the starter should work whether the fuel pump does or not. If you are not getting power from the ignition switch nothing is going to happen. If that wire is dead then you have the project of figuring whether it is the switch or something in between before it gets to the starter like the neutral start switch.

try and see if you can move the battery clamps by hand. If they turn, you need to tighten them up and make sure they’re clean.

Also, do you hear the relay click when you turn the key?

What’s the voltage on the battery read?

Do the dash lights seem to dim when you put the key in to crank mode or no effect?
