This thread, and the thread with the plenum gasket details, has become very interesting and complex. It is also an example of how difficult it is to offer advice through a computer, without being told all of the symptoms and signs up front._x000D_

Haven’t read the entire thread, but I want to suggest you use Hughes engine’s aluminum plenum pan. It will solve the recurrence of the problem caused by the different expansion rates of the steel pan and aluminum intake. I used it on my 99 Durango 60,000

Yeah I’m saving up for a Hughes kit now, not sure if I mentioned that or not. I’ve done enough research to know that fixing just the gasket isn’t going to cut it.

Finally went and got myself an OBDII scanner, and even though my CEL is gone it’s stored a P0307
