Turned out the wire that is used to move the window up and down .. jammed up in the
coil and so the window would stick and not go down entirely .. Once that happens it’s
pretty much adios trying to fix the wire. Here’s what the part looks like and the door
cable locations. The part costs $30 and it’s a 10 minute fix… I had never done it before
and was my first time… Thank you for everyone’s help and inspiring me to be able to
attempt this. My wife can finally put the window down.I ended up buying this part twice.. because I had unfortunately unclipped that cable tie
holding the white spool together… that bugger is under “HIGH” tension .. and when it
lets go .. it’s toast! You’ll never get it back in again (I know from trying for four hours).Do not remove the tie or spool… I did it briefly just to bolt the motor to it and was holding
it the entire time. It comes with 3 bolt holes ready but I had to drill the others but I left
it bolted on with the other three since I wasn’t taking chances.Enjoy the pictures.
