99 honda accord weird noise while driving

i noticed while driving on the highway a loud whistle noise when i hit the gas on the passanger side BUT when i take my foot off the gas it goes completly away any help would be great

If that’s the case check your air filter to make sure it’s installed correctly.

check your pcv is working correctly. you may also look
for vacuum leaks. can the noise be duplicated with the
hood open and revving the car?

Does it sound at all like a flutter? Like fan blades in the wind? A slight whistle perhaps. My 1994, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2007 Accord all made a whistling/fan sound when you would put the gas pedal down. I just understood it to be the sound a 2.2,2.3,2.4 Honda engine make. My 3 v6 accords never did it.
