Hi all,
This is what I’ve been working on….Its a 99 F250 SuperDuty extended cab LWB with a 5.4 and an 8ft Fisher MM2 plow. It limped along last winter the 10 or so times I needed it for the driveway… I’ve got a long list of things to get done before the winter. Its currently not even registered and I just use to plow out our private road and the few driveways that branch off it, but hope to get it on the road by this winter.
Here’s the current list of things I need to get done to put this ugly thing on the road:
Replace:
Rear brake calipers, rotors, pads, parking brake shoes and one rotted brake hose, bleed brakes
Replace trans cooler bypass valve
adjust shift linkage (its a little sloppy)
Replace trans oil pan and gasket
Possibly replace trans cooler lines
Replace both diff covers and gasket
Repair exhaust leak
Oil change
Sand/Grind down rust and repaint frame.
Repair rust on rear doors/weld in new sheet metal and paint…Plow:
Flush fluid
Sand/Grind down rust spots and repaintIts going to be a long, rusty journey.. I’ll update when/if I finish it before winter.
