I’m not sure, but when you figure it out please post a video of doing that so I can see how it is done. My 98 has a compression fitting that (I think) would come apart with a couple of open wrenches on the radiator side. The hose part of that looks a little wet and I want to change it out, but I don’t want to do it without knowing how the rubber hose hooks up with the steel line on the other end.
Most auto parts stores will sell the quick disconnect tools for a reasonable price. I would just buy the whole set.
+1 on buying a set of the disconnect tools. they come in different styles , some are plastic or you can spend a little more and get the fancy aluminum set ( I have both and they work equally well ) if you
