I have a 99 civic dx auto and I have that notorious hairline crack in the exhaust manifold .. I’m wanting to just get a whole new exhaust from the header all the way back .. Ive heard that everything will bolt up fine and match up to the hangers no problem .. the only thing is the secondary O2 sensor wont reach … How do I go about putting a new exhaust and get it to work since the O2 sensor wont reach .. could I just get an O2 sensor extender and thats all I would need? the DX has the exhaust manifold / cat converter that is one single piece .. Im just confused if there is any kit that I can buy it just bolt it together and hang it up and it will work 100% outa the box without mods .. please help … my muffler fell off the other day too due to rust and the sound is horrible and annoying
any help would be greatly appreciated .. thanks guys

I would try and get something that will fit the stock
locations. Otherwise you will need to extend the wires.You will find many bolt on complete kits on eBay, check out this link: Honda exhaust Or: Catback Combo You will have to do some searching to find a complete emissions legal setup but they are out there. As far as modifying the stock 02 sensor to fit, it can be done, however if not done correct will cause you many issues. In any case Good Luck!
