I tried looking this up but I can only find ‘dash lights only’ and ‘nothing happens’ results. I am fairly new to maintaining and servicing my own vehicle but so far have replaced my fly wheel and timing belts as well as various other smaller parts and fixes. When I shredded my timing belt it was a quick and easy replacement but I went back in for a new water pump this time. After a few hours I was back off the blocks and tried starting the engine, but only the starter is turning. Fuel pump is activating, all electronics and air settings are fine, no bad fuses etc. Stripped it all the way back to the exposed water pump once more and then back to the ground, same result, only the starter is spinning, not even a flooded no start situation. I had driven the car hours before swapping the pump just fine, can I get some pointers if anyone’s got an idea of what could have happened please? 99 Honda Accord LX 2.3 manual 4cyl.
