      Hello everyone,
I own a 98 Honda accord v6, and the other day when driving i noticed the engine heats up when im at a stop for some period of time. I began to suspect the cooling fans not turning on and sure enough. So my question is how would i test what part of the cooling fan isnt working and how would i test it? All answers are appricated, thanks

Check to see that the relay is working and there is 12v present at the relay contacts. If you jump the relay and the fans come on your relay may not be getting the signal to turn on. From there I’d check your temp sensor

            Along with what shaun mentioned:
Might take a quick look at the fan itself to see if is spins freely.
Use a DVOM to check it for a short or open
May also connect 12V directly to it (be mindful of polarity) to see if it operates correctly.
