I have a 1998 Ford Escort with close to 170,000 miles on it. I recently had a CEL come on and when I used my obd scanner on it I got a Po113. On fords this is a Intake Air Temperature Sensor Circuit High Input. So I did some reading and found that one cause can be a bad sensor. So I had got a 50% off from autozone so I figured that I would just go buy a new one since a new one would only be 8 bucks with the coupon. I put it in at the store and then drove all the way home and checked aging (Stopping a few times) and I still had it. I have also read that it could be a dirty air filter. I pulled mine and checked it but didn’t see anything wrong with it. It was still pretty white It does have about 20 thousand on it so I guess i will change that too just in case.
I am not really sure how to go about figuring this one out. I have checked all the connections and they are all good.
Any thoughts would be awesome!
