Put some Lucas oil in it and replace the pcv, that should help a lot if not fix it completely.
I use Lucas all the time in cars with high milage and it really helps.
You can buy it almost anywhere it comes in a white bottle 32oz bottle.

possibly your PCV valve? i dont know that it does but if it has a line that goes to before your air filter it may be spitting oil/oil vapors into your intake and getting into the filter but i dont know how its set up on your car exactly but its something you should check out first because its a very inexpensive part to start off at?

PCV is on the right track but it may have nothing to do with the PCV valve and more to do with a worn out engine. The fresh air side of the PCV system gets it’s air from the intake AFTER the air filter, when an engine gets worn out there is often more pressure in the crankcase due to leakage past the piston rings causing the PCV system not to work as well and send contaminants back into the air filter and intake through this same fresh air tube. You can try replacing the PCV valve but given the age of the vehicle I wouldn’t hold out too much hope.
