Hey I just recently purchased a 98 Chevrolet astro RWD. And my.steering wheel is about 1/8th of a turn to the right. Even tho my wheels are straight. I don’t believe it pulls while I am driving
So I don’t.think I need to go waste money on a full alignment . is there any way to fix that I am a certified technician . but first year . so still have some things to learn. If anyone can help me I’d be happy to offer any help I could to you as well.

      Thanks

Generally speaking, steering wheel centering is part of the alignment procedure, so it may be worth the $80 or so just to make sure it is all done properly and the wheel alignment is actually on point. However, sometimes minor corrections can be made by adjusting the tie rod ends, turning one side in and then turning the other side out by exactly the same amount. It is important to keep the adjustments to each side identical though or else it will need the shop alignment. Mark the original positions of the tie rods before changing them. The vehicle does not have to be lifted to do this, but if done on the ground, make sure the tires are both properly and equally inflated.

Astros don’t have any rear adjustments…. Take it to any alignment shop and have them adjust the front toe only.. It shouldn’t cost you more than 45 bucks…

Thanks a lot both of you. I will take a look at tie rod ends and try it out. Thanks for help !!!
