ok guys..im needing help here…my truck lost all power..i mean everything..then i raised the hood an noticed my red wire on my batter was badly corroded..i cleaned it very good then put it back on..i gained all my power back..BUT…now my fuel pump is getting no power an the truck want start when i jump the fuel pump to make it run…iv got fuel pressure so im good there but still not getting any power at all to the pump, except for when i jump it ” the fuel pump”…so my obvious question is…what could be the problem…keep in mind that even with the fuel pump jumped and continuously running im still not getting any spark….HELP

If you have checked all fuses and relays and found them to be good , and batt cables are clean and tight then you should check the dizzy for voltage going to it ( regarding your lack of spark issue ) it is a pain being that the dizzy is behind the intake. if you have no spark to dizzy ( while cranking – high voltage – use caution ) and no power to fuel pump without it being jumped – I would suspect a bad ignition switch. will need a wiring diagram for your ram.
Iv looked for the wireing diagram an have not been able to find one..anybody got a diagram that they can post please??

There should be a relay called the asd relay its an auto shutdown relay it kills fuel and spark id start there
If the relay is good make sure you are getting the proper powers and grounds to the asd relay if not make sure you have a crank signal as this can cause the asd relay no to work
i swapped a couple relay’s around with the asd relay and still got nothing…when i did a continuity check on the asd relay it showed to be fine
Heres the wiring diagram and so what it apears is that the asd controls the coil and the fuel injectors so an easy way to tell if the asd is good you can check for injector pulse with a noid light, its not recommended but i have done it a few times you can use a test light and see if it blinks if you have injector pulse, then the asd is working properly and you have crank signal so the problem will be elsewere.
What numbers do I need to match up when buying a PCM..I found one but 2 of the 5 group of numbers match..will this work, keep in mind that the replacement PCM is coming out of the same model as my truck and also comming from a at like mine
Ok…found the issue with my truck..it turned out to be my “ecm” computer..it was bad so I replaced it an now im back in business
