Check for a vacuum leak at the Idle air control valve ( located at the back of the t-body )

ok il check….would that cause that port showed in the picture to suck so much air that it stalls out the engine while ideling and driving ?

Yes. the IAC should be located directly behind the noted area in your picture.

Ok..so how would I go about checking it to see if its bad?

and would idle air control valve also be the reason its running alittle rich ?

First do a visual inspection , look for any loose or broken vacuum lines or any missing port plugs ( any ” open holes ” in the back of the t-body ) an inspection mirror will help.
Second , with the truck at idle spray around the back of the t-body with t-body cleaner. any change in the idle will let you know the area of a vac leak. this is a fairly common prob with the rams ( ram owner myself ) when the IAC goes bad or you get a vac leak from that area the truck starts to run too lean so the computer tries to compensate by dumping more fuel giving you that overly rich smell. it is poss that the t-body to manifold gasket is bad but check the IAC first then post back.

I sprayed at the front of the base of the throttle body an had a idle change…so it may be at the plate were it meets the intake..the gasket may need replaced..I guess thats my project for tomorrow…what you think?

If when spraying t-body cleaner around the base of the t-body you get a noticeable idle change then you could have a bad t-body to intake mounting gasket.

Yeah the first time I sprayed it it wasnt that noticeable…but the 3rd or 4th time I sprayed it I noticed it started getting worse…then it jus started sucking so much air the engine died…after I replace the t-body gasket there will be nothing else I can do to it other than clean the t-body itself real good in which I plan to do all at once…I think while im at it im ganna replace the pcv valve to

That is the idle air bypass in the throttle body. Air is supposed to leak by there.

Just to confirm….its ok to get a little t-body cleaner down in the intake rite?

If the IAC valve was stuck wide open it would only cause a very high idle. I have never seen one make the engine stall. Have you ever checked for fault codes? Spraying around the throttle body will only make it run faster and suck more air into the throttle body.
It really makes a loud noise.

Try disconnecting the battery for 20 min. and touch the cables together before reconnecting.

And No, a little cleaner down the intake won’t hurt anything.

Ok..an if none of this works where do I start looking..I have replaced the map sencor, idle air control valve, throttle position sencor, t-body gasket an pcv valve an in the process of un hooking the battery cables….if non of this works where do I look next?

You really need a scan tool that reads data. A bad coolant temp sensor could cause a high idle problem but without the proper equipment you’re just guessing.
