You would need the blower itself and any pulleys and
accessories that go with it. The intake would be removed.
        see if this helps.

For finding parts, keep in mind a lot of cars used the same parts in some systems.

The way to check compatibility would be go to rockauto website and look up the part for your specific car. On the part number, you click it and it will give a list of other cars that interchange. Remember though that interchangeability implies the same engine.

With that knowledge, you could rummage the junk yards for parts. Maybe they have a 97 grand prix that uses the same whatever part.
So you are wanting to install a supercharger? I used to be on a w-body forum and from what I gathered, it is quite a procedure. You cannot really just “bolt on and go” because a lot of things are set up different from the PCM, emissions, fuel system, TRANSMISSION, etc…

I am sure you will investigate completely before deciding if this is something you want to get into. Costs could run into the $1,000’s (especially since it may need a stronger transmission)

car-part.com is an online network for salvage yards across the nation. I think their network might even be international. I’ve never needed to find a carburetor in New Zealand so I haven’t dug too deep into how far they stretch. Anyway, you can enter your year, make, and model & it will show you everything in any participating salvage yard’s inventory. It will show you any interchanging make and model that’s compatible. And, it can narrow down a location search for yards closest to home for you.

For your car in particular, you’d probably want a PCM, MAF, and MAP sensors that are calibrated for the supercharger. I would imagine much of the top end of the engine bay harness is going to be quite a bit different too. For what I’ve seen, there’s a second belt and different pulleys that you’ll need to add too. A complete donor car might be best for you so you can’t possibly come up short on the surprise parts you’re going to find you need along the way.

If you do find a good supercharger for yourself, make sure you change the oil in it right away. Nobody ever does the oil maintenance on theirs & I hear it’s caused a lot of failures for those superchargers. It’s a specific oil that’s needed and you’ll have to go straight to the dealer for that oil. Parts stores are going to look at you funny if you try and ask for supercharger oil.

Whatever you decide you will require the PCM and wiring harness to make it all work. A supercharged engine I’m sure would use different strategies than a non turbo engine. The fuel pump is different also.
