So I just went ahead and cleaned my headlights, they were so foggy that aiming them was impossible.
(just a giant blob of light lol)Now that I’m done cleaning them, I tried aiming them… Basically all I could do was aim em below level.
Because well, the headlights aren’t straight. And I don’t mean left / right or up / down. I mean rotationally.
They both are rotated almost 30 degrees, one is way up and to the left (even when fully aimed the other way) and the other is way down to the right (although I was able to aim it correctly after adjusting). If you were looking at the garage door (what I am aiming with, that and a tape measure)
Now I have no clue how you would fix a headlight that is shooting out a beam that is rotationally not level.
There are three adjustment screws:
(keep in mind there is one only accessible if you take off the fender, its under the vertical adjustment screw)
So? Do I just replace the headlight? What on earth could cause the headlight to be so rotated?
