Well, our faithful old Odyssey has gotten a bad case of the suspension creaks, front and back.
It’s not the ball-joints, a quick look-see shows they’re tight and not creaking. However several of the rubber bushings look frittered.
Now I could replace the whole arm assemblies, but those come to almost $400 per side.
I don’t see the bushings available separately, does anybody have a source for those? I have a bushing press so i’d much rather use that than blow $800 on new suspension arms.

Thanks, we replaced the lower knuckle bushings, which were completely shot, and we’ve ordered replacements for the front of the trailing arm bushings which were only partially frittered but groan a lot.
It wasn’t too hard to use a SawzAll to saw out the old bushings and a $30 Harbor Freight press to press in new ones.
Sure beats the almost $600 cost of replacing the whole arms.
Changing out the bushings can do a lot for ride quality and helping keep things quiet. They can be a pain to change out however. Sounds like you’ve got that part worked out though. Also not a bad idea to take a good look at the stabilizer bushings and ball joints as well. BTW, that year Odyssey is pretty much the same as an Accord, they’re built on the same chassis. Therefore the information in this video will apply.

Okay, good to know. I changed the big and small bushings without much trouble. Funny thing was the passenger-side ones were cracked and rusty, the driver side ones in much better shape.
The best way seems to be to have a hefty cutoff abrasive saw, as often the bolts are rusted solidly to the bushings so you have to cut though the exposed bushing center hubs and buy new bolts. The bushings can be pressed out with a $30 Harbor Freight bushing and bearing pusher tool, or you can cut through the bushing outer shell and the the shell will easily hammer out.
Total cost under $100 which sure beats the list prices for all the OEM parts!
