97 honda civic alternator

ok so i noticed the other day i was driving and noticed my lights dim when i come to a stop and brighten up when i step on the gas did a tested on the alternator at idle i was putting out 18 volt noooooooo good so i replace it today and let me tell you i cant believe what you have to take apart just to do a simple alternator i.e driver side wheel disconnect the tie rod lower control arm removal of axle and alternator pivot point but all said and done it wasnt to bad i just thought i would share my experience.
