The engine turns over and valves turn, pulled upper cover and verified tt-belt okay, I made sure I have crank signal from sensor with my scanner. I don’t have my spark tester or noid lights to check pulse/spark. If I crank it over I can smell fuel so I doubt I have a delivery issue. I am a ford tech and this is a friends, just kind of lost. Also it makes a weird thumping type noise when cranking. I can’t describe it but I do not know if it’s related. It is full of oil but I do know it leaks being as the timing belt has oil on it. Any help would be great, thanks

Oil on the timing belt?
Sounds like the timing may have jumped, and the pistons are clunking into the valves, causing your thumps.
I had some time to double check everything, I have spark, compression, all timing marks lined up, injector pulse. This car should run. I am very sure the fuel pressure is good being as I can smell fuel when cranking the car. I do not have an adaptor to test it, being as it is a straight line into rail
Any ideas?
