My car has a couple problems.
When its cool out it will crank but not start then when it warms up out side it will start
[color=orange]Do you have fuel and spark?
If it a fuel delivery issue ( faulty check valve on the fuel pump )
Try cycling the key several time to the start position before cranking the engine.
Might also check the fuel pressure regulator for proper operation.[/color]and it has cel but for what ever reason it won’t comunicate with my scan tool any idea how to fix the no start and the fact thatbi can’t connect my scan tooL
Not knowing exactly what tool your using or the vehicle information, it is possible that your tool has a compatibility issue with your vehicle or perhaps a poor connection or blown fuse to the OBD connector.I’ve tried to have some auto part stores do the code reading but it won’t connect car has spark its getting gas or I don’t think it would start at all and its got a noticeable miss but since I cant pull code I can’t figure out what the code is. any one know another way to pull the code?
