97 civic EGR valve smoke test – fail?

Hello everyone!

I recently did a smoke test on my 97 Honda civic and I came across the body of the EGR valve leaking smoke. It was not a lot but it did come across odd that it is a newly rebuilt one from AutoZone and already failing. I know there can be issues with rebuilds so I am going to get it exchanged tomorrow. I was just unsure if that is something of concern or if they are supposed to leak out a little bit if there is excessive pressure in the system. If someone could shine some light on this, thank you.
