      Hello all, CEL came on in my truck this weekend. Pulled the codes p0172 (system too rich) and p0300 (random missfire). 1997 Chevy p/u with a vortech 5.7 V8. Not sure if the spiider injector has been updated only had the truck 5 years and no previous service history. Where should I start to narrow this down?

        P0172 your running rich. Start with an ignition tune up.
        plugs.cap,rotor wires. Your dumping fuel and not lighting
        it off. which can cause the p0300.
