97 Camry V6, 5-speed, I installed a new clutch slave and master cylinder and while bleeding, I notice brake fluid coming out underneath where the slave cylinder line and clutch master cylinder line connects to on the trans. What does this mean? Why is fluid coming out? What broke? Is there a seal in there? The fluid is not coming out the lines but underneath the connecting block where the lines connect to.

In the pics there are the two lines, the slave & master cylinder. The brake fluid is leaking underneath it. Any ideas? Is my trans busted?

Your trans does not use brake fluid internally to lubricate. What may have happened
is the old slave leaked inside and is now making its way out. If the new master is not
going low, then this theory would apply. If you are losing fluid then there is a leak either
on the new slave or the line. Clean everything up with brake clean to see if more comes out.
