Stupid trans is shot. Having a hard time selling it for any more than the scrap yard would give me.
ANYway, what I am wanting to do is remove what fuel is left in the tank. I am thinking the best way is to disconnect the fuel feed line at some point, turn on the ignition, and let the fuel run into a gasoline container.Is there an easy way to do this? I am not wanting to go through a lot of trouble for $20 worth of gasoline if it means removing the UIM or whatever, also not wanting to drill into the gas tank (too dangerous)
Anyways since this car will soon be left to rot in a scrap yard, I am not super concerned if something else breaks in the process.
Yes, I hate this car and have hated it from day one.

There are several ways, siphoning is probably the most common method, or disconnecting the fuel line on the output side of the filter and connect a hose there that runs into a container and let it pump out. Check your local yards to see if they want the tank removed. All of them around here want the vehicle without tires and tank. If so, you could leave the gas in the tank, drop the tank, and then pour it out.
