Hey all, I just purchased a 97 accord in great condition with 140K. The car has some interior wear, but the previous 2 owners maintained the drivetrain very well. The issue that I’m having is the car vibrates when in gear at a stop light or sign. When I put it in neutral the vibration is much better. The car runs great, and when it’s in park no issues. I have researched the topic, and the hits I’m getting point to bad engine mounts with possible mount solenoid problems.
Anyone have experience with this, or can you point me to the engine mount to look at first, or is it something different all together?

sounds like an engine mount issue especially at that age the rubber inserts can become torn or worn already. Theres three in your vehicle, one on the driver side of the engine right by the timing belt, another on the passenger side right above the transmission and one on the rear underneath the air intake pipe. Youll have a hard time getting to that one. theres plenty of videos on how to replace. Its really not that difficult. Check the rubbers to see if theyre torn or dry and rotten.
addition, you might have another mount in the front right behind the radiator shroud.
