Hello so I had a code P0201 so found a bad inj. no 1 n replaced it and am getting no codes but the thing keeps dieing after around 20 minutes but will restart once then not again till it cools or rests and after it dies I check the codes again n get nothing. The fans work and it runs fine till it dies with no spark so any suggestions or help will b apprecieated

This happened to me some time back and it turned out to be a failing crankshaft sensor.

Its the crank sensor not the cam sensor here is a pic of the location.

See if this helps. should work for testing even though different engine size.

I have a Haynes book n spent alot of time looking for this sensor with no luck then was told both the cam and crank sensors are in the distributor on 97 3.0 fuel injected
