96 Silverado 5.7

Could a bad fan clutch cause a belt to squeal at all?? its bad anyways i’m going to replace it in a couple of days but i was just curious because i have been chasing this belt squeal problem since i bought it. it has a new alternator, belt tensioner, ac compressor, and a new belt and i don’t believe any of the pulleys are out of alignment.. could be wrong though. any help is appreciated, thanks
