What kind of car is it? I swear we just saw one like this…
Edit: I just noticed the title.. hold on..
I would look at the condition of the transmission fluid to begin with.
As for those 2 transmission codes, you need to find some service information on how to diagnose those 2 codes.
We have a link to free Chilton’s online in the ‘How To’ forum so i’m not sure if that will be any help.
How is the vehicle driving? Is if shifting at higher RPM’s or reaching high RPM’s and not shifting at all?
How many miles are on the vehicle?
If you can access the wiring connector, some of those sensors you can ohm out. Again service information would be helpful.
You could start by checking the fluid level and condition as suggested, be sure that the engine is off when you check the fluid and only use Honda fluid but to be honest those codes pretty much means that the computer detects that the transmission is slipping and you may need to replace it with a reman unit.
I drained and filled the tranny with new honda atf. It was dark but seemed fine. Is it worth changing the mainshaft sensor that is at the front of the tranny? What should i do next?
