It may require more fuel pressure to start than to run, and the pump or regulator may be on the way out. A good next step is to get a fuel pressure gauge and check cranking pressure against specs.

Ok the truck has sat for 2 years after it hit a deer. What should I look for in fuel pressure

That would have been good information to start with. 2-year-old gas is not reliable fuel. I would pump/drain out all of that and put in fresh gas.

it has fresh fuel in it, I’m going to get a fuel pressure tester and see what the pressure is

If it hasn’t already been done upgrade from the CSFI spider to the later style MPFI one. The instructions on how to do so are readily available online.

You have to start original pressure testing again. Find out if you have fuel pressure. Then if not, find out why not. It is not uncommon to get new after market fuel pumps that are bad.
