Okay, so a couple weeks ago I hit a nasty pothole in town. Ever since then, I have had a creaking noise coming from my passenger front wheel. Here is a list of symptoms:
– The noise only happens after I have been driving for a while
– The longer you drive, the worse it gets.
– The noise doesn’t happen above 20MPH.
– The noise only happens when I am accelerating from a dead stop, and stopping at first.
– After driving for a long time, the noise starts to happen when I turn the wheel at slow speeds.
– The vehicle does NOT shake or pull at any speeds.
– The noise is NOT reproduced by shaking the car.I have taken this vehicle to two mechanics (Dealership and local reputable mechanic). NO ONE CAN LOCATE THE PROBLEM. In fact, when ever there is a mechanic driving the car, there is NO NOISE.. I even drove the vehicle for a good 30 minutes, to make sure it would be making noise. It was making the noise when I got there. They drove it within a few minutes after I pulled up. I have had friends tell me they here it too, I mean after a bit of driving this gets LOUD. This is driving me insane.
