Throws a code or the cel flashes? if its flashing the engine is misfiring. The
above links will help further.The only thing that flashes is the d4 light i pulled the code and its for the vehicle speed sensor. Would a bad vss not let it rev over 3500

Yes from no signal the cars shifting does not know what to do. The car may be in limp mode
Thats how the vehicle protects itself from damage.
