I have tried everything that I can think of, and my civic still runs rich at idle. it is a 95 DX that is stock other than an intake, headers, down pipe and cat. I have done the following;
plugs and wires,
cleaned air filter,
cleaned intake manifold,
cleaned injectors,
new intake and throttle body gaskets,
new map sensor,
cleaned IACV,
new catalytic converter
and cap and rotor.
The head gasket water pump and timing belt was done 8000 miles ago. I cant think of anything else that would be making it run rich. it doesn’t blow any smoke or anything, but you can tell by the smell that its running rich. please let me know if there are any other things I should be replacing or testing.

Leaking injectors. Not just injectors – if you cleaned them right, as I don’t know how did you – but O-rings on injectors.
Or, your ECM gets wrong readong off one of sensors and keeps pumping too much gas.I put new o rings in. And the injectors were cleaned right, how would I go about testing the sensors? And what sensors should I be testing?

o2 sensors. Everyone on there. They are what measures your air fuel ratio. I’m not sure about how to test them to see if there still good though.
