I am working on a 95 blazer idles at around 2200 rpm but ever now and then not too often well idle 900 rpm and I have done test that would look for vacuum leaks, I used carburetor cleaner and sprayed that at all the vacuum ports I neber get any fluctuation in the idle. could this be a throttle position sensor problem. please let me know of any help or test that I can do find a problem. thanks so much guys you are the best

If you suspect a bad TPS i would sweep test it. However, seeing as the problem is intermittent, i doubt there is a TPS issue.
You may want to start looking at the IACV, making sure it is operating correctly.
I would still be double checking for vacuum leaks particularly around the intake manifold.
Are you loosing any coolant?, as the lower intake gaskets on these motors are known for failure. You may even want to do a coolant system pressure test to see if the system will hold pressure.
I would also do a fuel pressure test also to rule out a fuel systems issue. Those CPI systems are not the greatest of designs.

I would search again for vacuum leaks. try tapping on your idle air control valve (IAC) with the handle of a screw driver to see if
the idle changes. if it does than replace it. also check your egr valve. good luck and keep us posted,C8-)heres some videos that Eric
